Lavender (Lavandula angustifolia)
Ancient Greek and Romans liked it for it's cleansing effect.
Active ingredients: volatile oil (linaool, linalil acetate), flavonoids, tan materials, coumarins. Lavender eliminates congestion it is disinfectant and refreshing. It has antiseptic effect on skin, and applied on mild degree burns. Because of it's pleasant essential oil is often used in the perfume industry.
It is known for anti-inflammatory, analgesic, antihypertensive, sedative effect.
