Yarrow (Achillea Millefolium)

The legend says that the healing experienced centaur, Chiron familiarized Achilleus with wound healing Yarrow. Hence the name. Only the white-flowered yarrow species have curative effect.

Active ingredients: volatile oil, composed of pinene, cineol, sesquiterpene derivatives (allergenic) flavonoids, salicylic acid.

The yarrow has local anti-inflammatory, wound healing, epithelizing, antiseptic effect and improves the resistance ability. It is used to slowly healing wounds, ulcers, eczema, gum and eye inflammation. Excellent rinsing and fomenting agent used against menstrual disorders.

Thyme (Thymus vulgaris)

Historically, it was one of the most important herb against infectious diseases and it was consumed in large quantities during epidemics, but also used as body rabbing and smoking. Hence the common name grass balm; each type is a herb.

Active ingredients: essential oil, thymol components (40%), carvacrol (15%), , triterpenes, flavonoids.

It is a thyme astringent, toning, purifying, balsamic and antiseptic herb. Thymol: inhibiting the development of bacteria, viruses, fungi. The karvakol has also antiseptic, antibacterial compound effect.
